When I brought my third kid home from the hospital and (finally) went to bed, I found myself staring up at the ceiling for what seemed like hours.
My first two taught me that kids are expensive. Now that we had three, my wife was determined to stay home and be a full-time mom which meant only one thing: I was in charge of bringing home the bacon.
All the bacon. 🥓
I really want to make lots of great memories with my kids but shoot...
Five people eat A LOT of bacon. Not only that, the friends and teachers around us “encourage” us to bring home veggies too. Growing boys shouldn’t be on Atkins…
“How can I afford all of this?” I would wonder. How long can we go before buying new shoes? Will they want to play soccer, baseball, AND basketball on top of art classes and Scouts?
How much will it cost to fly across the country to see the cousins? What about a trip to Disney World? Or even the Monster Truck Rally?
What if one of them gets sick and has to go to the hospital?
I couldn’t sleep!
